TATTOO AFTERCARE
To ensure your tattoo heals properly, follow these steps. How you care for it will affect the healing quality. After leaving the studio, it's your responsibility to look after your tattoo.
After our session, I will cover your tattoo with cling film. Keep it on for 1-2 hours. Once removed, wash the area with just water—no soap. Use a clean hand to splash water and gently rub with your palm until clean, then pat dry with a paper towel.
Clean the tattoo again 1-2 hours after the first wash, repeating this process 2-3 times a day for the next 1-2 weeks. Be gentle to avoid removing scabs.
You can start using Palmer's Cocoa Butter 1-2 days after your session. Always test it on a non-tattooed area first, especially if you have allergies, and stop using it if you notice any reactions, while still keeping the tattoo clean.
Apply a small amount of Palmer's Cocoa Butter and rub it in gently until absorbed. If you use too much, rub the surrounding skin until fully absorbed. Remember to wash and dry the area before reapplying to prevent buildup.
